      OSR Online

OSR has spent a considerable amount of time over the years documenting the Windows system software space. From our free publication, The NT Insider™ (started back in 1995), to our industry-recognized NT driver book (and plenty of other stuff in between that we can't tell you about), we've worked hard to evangelize and cheerlead advances for driver developers 'round the world.

Most recently, we've launched our own publishing division. We're pleased to announce OSR Press and hope you'll follow its journey as our newest venture progresses.

Below, you'll find more info about our various offerings in the publication space.

As our new publishing branch takes off, look for a revamping of this space. For now, stay tuned to the OSR Press page to keep abreast of all the latest developments.

The NT Insider
The only publication dedicated entirely to Windows® NT system software development.
FREE to Qualified Applicants

Published Bimonthly
The NT Insider is the world's only newsletter entirely dedicated to Windows systems software development. It's not for everybody. In fact, most software developers barely understand a word in it. But if you are now, or are starting to become, a developer of file systems, device drivers, or other systems internals applications on Windows, we're sure you'll find The NT Insider indispensable. No GUIs, VBXs, message boxes, OCXs, controls, classes, Java, html, cgi (this web stuff is starting to get to us)... well, you get the idea. If Windows systems software is your thing, you just can't beat a FREE subscription to The NT Insider.

All access to The NT Insider has moved off of our corporate site and onto our technical portal site, OSR Online. This includes not only access to past and present issues, but also access to the registration process. If you would like to subscribe to The NT Insider, just head over to the new subscription page. Complete both the "Standard" and "The NT Insider" registrations, and you're done.

OSR Classic Reprints: Windows NT Device Driver Development

Peter Viscarola and Tony Mason

This is the definitive text on how to write Windows NT kernel mode device drivers. Expanding on the information presented in our enormously successful Windows NT Kernel Mode Drivers seminar, this book gives all the hows, whys, and wherefores of kernel mode device driver development under NT V4.0.

After a brief hiatus, the best-selling Windows device driver book of all time is now back in print! OSR Press is now pleased to re-introduce Windows NT Device Driver Development, as part of the OSR Classic Reprints collection.

Please Note: this book is a reprint of the original MacMillian Technical Publishing publication printed in 1998. It's contents are wholly unmodified. Please see the detailed description for further information.
