We truly believe that there's no better way to learn about Windows driver development than attending an in-person OSR Seminar.
But we also acknowledge that travel these days is both a PITA and expensive. So, we've finally done something about it: Now you can
attend a live OSR Seminar, on-line, via the web.
You get the same great instructors and same great materials. In fact, you get exactly the same information that we
present in our in-person offerings. The difference is that at the end of the day, you go home instead of back to a hotel.
We've been doing these on-line presentations for our big corporate customers for years. The reason we started doing them is that they
insisted. Only recently have we become convinced that the technology is good enough to allow us to present our seminars over the internet
for anybody to attend.
How It Works
In short, what you'll get is a live seminar, presented on-line via your PC with bi-directional audio. Presentations are done using
WebEx Training Center. You'll receive a (password protected) link to join the seminar online with audio via VOIP. Hardcopies of the
seminar materials (including printed copies of all slides) will be shipped to you in advance of the start of the seminar. Each seminar
is divided into multiple sessions, each about 4 hours long, presented over multiple days. As well as being able to ask questions during
the seminar, the instructor (and maybe even other members of the OSR development team) will hang after each session to answer any remaining
or more detailed questions that you might have.

This is an online training seminar, so there are some technical requirements you should be aware of:
- Windows 98/2000/XP/2003/Vista
- MS Internet Explorer 6, 7, Mozilla 1.7 or later, Firefox 2, or Netscape 8.1 or later
- JavaScript and cookeis enabled in browser
- Recommended ActiveX enabled for Internet Explorer
- On Vista, IE7 or Firefox 2 only
- 56K or faster internet connection
- PC microphone and speakers or headset

Benefits
If your company will let you, and you don't mind traveling too much, we'd love to have you join us at one of our
in-person offerings (there's really nothing like it). However, taking everything into account we think the benefits
of attending an OSR Webinar are easy to see:

An OSR Webinar is truly "the next best thing to being there"
Other Logistics
Pre-registration is required for all OSR Webinars. No registrations are allowed the day of the seminar.
Prior to attending any OSR Webinar, participants may download and test their system for compatibility with the OSR WebEx Training Center system.
Approximately one day before attending an OSR Webinar, each participant will be required to attend a brief (15 minutes) live preliminary session using the system from
which they will attend the Webinar. This will ensure each participant's system is set up correctly, and will prevent compatibility problems on the first day of the Webinar.
Each participant is responsible for ensuring their system is configured and ready for each Webinar session.
Each seminar attendee requires their own registration. Each attendee is limited to one concurrent seminar login.
